Line Scores
Pink created gestural drawings in direct reaction to live dancers moving in the performance space. Those drawings then acted as a dance score for the performer’s next series of movements. Dancers use the quality of marks and line in the drawings as scores to inform their movement style, gesture, and tempo. Those new movements then inform the next round of drawings creating an endless cycle of translation and nonverbal conversation between Pink and the dancers.
